In Japan, demographic change driven by a declining birth rate and an aging population has become increasingly evident. With people's lifestyles, values and consumer behaviors diversifying, we believe it is essential to deliver personalized value based on our customers' individual challenges and needs, rather than taking a blanket approach to the entire market.
In an era of 100-year lifespans, we recognize that protection against unforeseen risks and asset formation and succession aligned with future life planning are closely interconnected and inseparable. Based on a market-in approach that starts with customer needs, we are strategically advancing the development of products and services to deliver integrated value across protection and asset formation and succession. In parallel, to enhance customer experience (CX) and productivity, we are transforming our distribution channels through DX by combining the strengths of real, face-to-face consulting with the advantages of digital touchpoints, while leveraging AI to drive business model transformation.
Furthermore, by maximizing group synergies—such as the sale of pet insurance (Daiichi ipet Insurance) through Daiichi Life's sales reps channel, the provision of asset formation solutions and partner services, and the offering of Benefit One's employee benefit services—we seek to evolve beyond the traditional life insurance domain and grow into an “insurance-related services provider.”

Daiichi Life
At Daiichi Life, we deliver our flagship product “Just,” which provides personalized coverage tailored to each customer by flexibly combining the necessary protection, through face-to-face consulting conducted by our nationwide sales reps channel. In addition to “Towa Support,” which offers lifelong protection against risks such as the three major diseases, long-term care, and physical disability, we are expanding our product lineup with offerings such as “Step Jump,” a fixed indexed individual annuity. Through these initiatives, we respond to the increasingly diverse needs of our customers by providing value across both protection and asset formation and succession.
Daiichi Frontier Life
At Daiichi Frontier Life, we provide a broad range of products and services that address customers' asset formation and succession needs, including “Premier Currency,” which supports stable long-term asset formation, and “Premier Present,” which enables customers to pass on both their assets and aspirations to their family members through inheritance. These offerings are delivered through a nationwide network of financial institution channels, insurance agencies, and Daiichi Life's sales reps. In addition, we are enhancing digital services for existing policyholders by expanding the functionality of policyholder portals and leveraging LINE as an information channel. Through these initiatives, we aim to contribute to the “Life” of each individual customer in an era of 100-year lifespans.
Daiichi Neo Life
At Daiichi Neo Life, guided by our brand message, “By your side, for life: Putting ‘It would be nice to have' first,” we provide products and services that contribute to health promotion, including medical and cancer insurance. These offerings are delivered through insurance agencies such as walk-in insurance shops and visiting agencies, as well as financial institutions including banks. In addition, by introducing initiatives such as “Digital Declaration,” which enables customers to receive medical assessment results immediately at the time of application, we are enhancing convenience for both insurance agencies and customers throughout the contracting process.
Daiichi ipet Insurance
At Daiichi ipet Insurance, guided by our brand message, “A lifetime of love for my beloved kids,” we stay close to pets and their owners by providing pet insurance through pet shop agencies, web direct channels, and Daiichi Life's sales reps channel. In October 2025, we launched a new plan under our flagship product “Uchinoko,” which offers broad coverage for veterinary medical expenses—including outpatient care, hospitalization, and surgery for dogs and cats—while responding to customer needs for more affordable premiums. We will continue to expand our products and services so that more pet owners choose us with confidence.
